Success Is On The Menu For Academy Principal

The founder of Bedfordshire and Warwickshire based ‘The Academy Of Performing Arts’ has become a bestselling author with his new book of theatre games, Drama Menu.

Glyn Trefor-Jones founded The Academy Of Performing Arts over seven years ago and has spent that time compiling a large anthology of theatre games and drama exercises that have been published by Nick Hern Books, London. Titles of the book are flying off the shelves and the exercises that were perfected in the classrooms of Bedfordshire and Warwickshire are now being taught worldwide (details of Drama Menu can be found at www.dramamenu.com).

Glyn credits the success of the book to his students, saying; “the Academy students are always hungry for new ideas and more exciting ways to explore drama in the classroom so, it didn’t take long to come up with the 158 exercises. In fact, since publication, the students have continued in their thirst for knowledge and new ideas so a ‘second helping’ of Drama Menu is just around the corner!”

Bedfordshire & Warwickshire’s Academy Of Performing Arts runs every weekend of the school term and sessions are available for students aged 5-17.
